Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Strategic Test Execution: Design and execute rigorous manual test suites for complex web and mobile ecosystems, ensuring full traceability between functional requirements and technical implementation.

• Defect Management Architecture: Orchestrate the end-to-end bug lifecycle, providing granular documentation, root-cause analysis, and systematic reporting of software regressions to stakeholders.

• Documentation Excellence: Author and maintain comprehensive QA artifacts, including high-level test plans, detailed execution scripts, and executive-level quality summary reports in accordance with corporate standards.

• Engineering Collaboration: Engage in active synergy with backend and frontend developers within Agile frameworks to expedite issue resolution and provide technical feedback during early-stage design reviews.

• Environment & Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and validate staging and production-like test environments, ensuring data integrity and configuration consistency across iterative deployment cycles.

Technical and Professional Prerequisites

• Professional Tenure: A minimum of 12 to 24 months of verifiable experience within a disciplined Quality Assurance or Software Engineering environment.

• Methodological Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) with practical experience in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

• Tooling Competence: Advanced operational knowledge of enterprise-grade infrastructure, specifically Jira for task orchestration and Postman for RESTful API validation and collection management.

• Analytical Capability: Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical requirements into actionable test cases with a focus on edge-case identification and risk mitigation.

• Soft Skill Set: Exceptional articulate communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for cross-departmental technical reporting and stakeholder management.

Advanced Preferred Qualifications

• Data Validation: Competence in SQL for performing database integrity checks, executing complex queries, and validating data-driven application logic.

• Automation Exposure: Preliminary experience or conceptual grounding in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress to support long-term shift-left testing initiatives.
