Senior Technical Manager

Executive Summary

The core mission of this role is to provide hands-on technical stewardship while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Unlike traditional management roles, the Senior Technical Manager is expected to remain deeply embedded in the technical lifecycle—actively driving architectural decisions, conducting rigorous code reviews, and performing comprehensive risk assessments. The successful candidate will lead diverse engineering teams through complex development cycles, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of scalability, security, and performance.

Core Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership and Architecture: Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices. Design scalable software architectures and lead complex system design sessions to ensure future-proof product development.

• Operational Management: Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Manage resource allocation, sprint planning, and technical debt to optimize engineering productivity and delivery timelines.

• Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Execute detailed code reviews and architectural audits. Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and production incidents to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.

• Cross-functional Collaboration and Mentorship: Partner with Product Management, UI/UX, and DevOps to align engineering efforts with product roadmaps. Provide technical coaching and professional development to both senior and junior engineering staff.

Technical and Professional Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in developing AI/ML-powered products or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Advanced Cloud Solutions Architect.
